In 2018 I started to produce my own music through this label, enjoying the freedom of being in complete control of the content in musical and visual terms. The idea is to release at least one CD each year to document my musical activities and developments.

The price for each individual CD is 12,50,- euro. Shipping and handling within Netherlands and Europe is 5,- euro. For shipping and handling outside Europe and multiple CD orders please send me an email. You can order most of my earlier CD’s through Itunes or directly through me. All payments through Paypal. Axel Hagen – Paolo Birro Duo – “Verona Sessions”

An intimately swinging Duo recording with pianist Paolo Birro and me. We recorded in the home of our friend and instrument collector Massimo Raccosta in Verona being able to use some of his priceless instruments: a Steinway Grand Piano from 1926 and a James D’Aquisto Centura model guitar from 1994. Chamber9 plays Ellington/Strayhorn (double CD!!!)

The spectacular first release of this very special group, founded by Axel Hagen in 2019. Chamber9 has a unique sound through the use of string instruments in combination with jazz vocals and rhythm section, “Chamber Jazz” on a very high level featuring the colorful arrangements of Axel Hagen, specially written for this group. This double CD features selected compositions of two Jazz masters, composer/musicians: Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. Each CD consists of a compilation of about 45 minutes of continuous music. The arrangements are written in a way that the pieces connect, like a suite, creating a fascinating and entertaining listening experience.
